Ministering to Children is a high priority for us at Mansfield Baptist Church. We value the opportunity and take seriously the responsibility of imparting Christ to the children God sends our way. We provide a safe and secure place for children to learn about God and to come to know Jesus personally. We recognize the investment that children deserve and count it a privilege to minister to them. If you have any questions about the Children’s Ministry at MBC, please email the Children’s Minister, Dye Galloway at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sunday, 8:30 AM — KidzWay Worship
Childcare is provided for babies through 4 year olds. For Kindergarten children and older, our children begin worship with us in the Sanctuary so they can experience and learn how to worship God. Part-way through the service, we dismiss the elementary aged children who would like to participate to go to Kidz Way Worship which is a child-friendly time of worship with an age appropriate message for the children. Kids wanting to participate will exit the back door during the Service when a "Kids Are Dismissed to KidzWay Worship" slide appears on the screen. The children will meet the KidzWay Worship Leadership Team in the back of the sanctuary and will be escorted to the KidzWay Worship Room down the Children's Hall (follow the signs). After the 8:30 AM service, children will be escorted to their appropriate Sunday School class.
Sunday, 9:45 AM — Sunday School

Special Event Ministries
VBS is one of the most important ministries we do all year long. During a week in early June, we teach the love of Christ through Bible lessons, crafts, music, recreation, and snacks. Children age 4 through 5th grade come for a week-long adventure of great learning and incredible fun. A wonderful week of VBS is capped off with Family Night on Friday night when parents, grandparents, siblings, and friends have the opportunity to come experience what the children have been doing all week. For Mansfield Baptist Church, VBS is really a community event. We have many visitors join us for that week of excitement.
Easter Egg Hunt — Palm Sunday
Our annual Easter Egg Hunt is on Palm Sunday Evening. We have a traditional egg and candy hunt, other fun activities including food for the entire family. This is a fun way to celebrate the true meaning of Easter.
The Youth Ministry at Mansfield Baptist Church provides teens with the opportunity to learn about Christ in a manner directly related to their stage of life. Each week, teens have a place to come and experience the love and truth found in our Savior, Jesus Christ, while learning what it means to be a light shining for Him. Below is a brief list and description of just some of the many youth ministry opportunities here at Mansfield Baptist Church:
Sunday School is held each Sunday morning beginning at 9:45 am and goes until Worship at 11 am. Youth are divided into middle and high school groups with lessons that teach the truths of the bible as well the tools needed to equip teenagers to live a life of Christ.
Youth REVIVE is each Sunday evening from 6 – 7 pm. This time allows for youth to be separated into age and gender similarity groups with topics and discussion focused on meeting each group right where they stand in their everyday walk through life at school or at home. Teenagers meet at the Youth House on Sunday Nights which is just off the church campus on 5th Avenue.
Afterglow usually happens once a month on a Sunday night following Youth Group Bible Study. This is a time for youth to hang out, play games, eat and overall just relax and enjoy fellowship with one another. Afterglow typically takes place at youth’s homes and last until 9 pm during the school year and 9:30 pm during the summer.
Youth Breakout begins at 6:45 and ends at 7:45. Here youth have the opportunity to enjoy fellowship, games, music, and devotions on any given Wednesday. The main goal of Youth Breakout is to have a warm, comfortable place to laugh, talk, sing, and learn about what Christianity is all about.
The youth of Mansfield Baptist have several opportunities throughout the year to take weekend retreats and summer mission trips. Though the venues and locations often change year to year here is a list some of the annual retreats/trips that youth can take part in:
