Children's Ministry
Ministering to Children is a high priority for us at Mansfield Baptist Church. We value the opportunity and take seriously the responsibility of imparting Christ to the children God sends our way. We provide a safe and secure place for children to learn about God and to come to know Jesus personally. We recognize the investment that children deserve and count it a privilege to minister to them. On-Going Ministry
Sunday, 9:00 AM — KidzWay Worship
Childcare is provided for babies through 4 year olds. For Kindergarten through 5th grade our children begin worship with us in the Sanctuary so they can experience and learn how to worship God. Part-way through the service, we dismiss the elementary aged children who would like to participate to go to KidzWay Worship which is a child-friendly time of worship with an age appropriate message for the children. Kids wanting to participate will exit the back door during the Service when a "Kids Are Dismissed to KidzWay Worship" slide appears on the screen. The children will meet the KidzWay Worship Leadership Team in the back of the sanctuary and will be escorted to the KidzWay Worship Room down the Children's Hall (follow the signs). After the 9:00 AM service, children will be escorted to their appropriate Sunday School class.
Sunday, 10:15 AM — Small Group
A class for every age child is provided where God’s love is taught and shown to the children. The classes are fun, faith-building, and Christ-centered.
Wednesday, 6:30 PM — Mission Kids
The Missions Organizations teach about serving God through serving others and give opportunities for the children to experience helping others in different ways. Mission Kids teaches children K through 5th grade about missions and involves them in mission projects. Nursery is provided for the infants and toddlers. We strive to teach and model early and often that God’s call includes loving our neighbors and showing that love.
Special Event Ministries
Vacation Bible School — Early June
VBS is one of the most important ministries we do all year long. During a week in early June, we teach the love of Christ through Bible lessons, crafts, music, recreation, and snacks. Children age 4 through 5th grade come for a week-long adventure of great learning and incredible fun. A wonderful week of VBS is capped off with Family Night on Friday night when parents, grandparents, siblings, and friends have the opportunity to come experience what the children have been doing all week. For Mansfield Baptist Church, VBS is really a community event. We have many visitors join us for that week of excitement.
Easter Egg Hunt — Palm Sunday
Our annual Easter Egg Hunt is on Palm Sunday Evening. We have a traditional egg and candy hunt, other fun activities including food for the entire family. This is a fun way to celebrate the true meaning of Easter.
Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry at Mansfield Baptist Church provides teens with the opportunity to learn about Christ in a manner directly related to their stage of life. Each week, teens have a place to come and experience the love and truth found in our Savior, Jesus Christ, while learning what it means to be a light shining for Him. Below is a brief list and description of just some of the many youth ministry opportunities here at Mansfield Baptist Church:
Sunday Worship at 9AM in the sanctuary.
Sunday School is held each Sunday morning beginning at 10:15 am following our 9 am worship service. Youth will meet in the hub at the end our adult Sunday School hall and receive lessons that teach the truths of the bible as well as the tools needed to equip teenagers to live a life of Christ.
Wednesday
Wednesday Night Bible Study in person in the HUB from 6:30-7:30 PM.
Trips/Retreats
The youth of Mansfield Baptist have several opportunities throughout the year to take weekend retreats and summer mission trips. Though the venues and locations often change year to year here is a list some of the annual retreats/trips that youth can take part in:

3 R's Ministry (Sr. Adults)
The 3R’s is a group of our church family that is made up of our retired folks and people who like to hang around retired folks. They gather for an event once a month and would love for you to join them at their next event.
